About the position

As Treasury Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting QSRP’s treasury operations across multiple entities, ensuring the accurate execution of payments, reliable cash monitoring, and solid control over banking activities. Reporting to the Head of Accounting within the central QSRP Accounting Department, you will help safeguard liquidity, support month-end closing activities, and contribute to the continuous improvement of treasury processes in a fast-paced, international environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Organization and monitoring of all payments and banking transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Accurately tracking intercompany cash flows and loans, ensuring reconciliation and compliance with agreements.
  • Monitoring cash positions across entities and proactively propose cash optimization actions (e.g. transfers).
  • Contribute to the monthly and year-end closing process, including bank reconciliations, interest calculations, and treasury-related accruals.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and controls related to payments and treasury activities, both for internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate treasury reporting, including cash positions, debt, and interests.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing timely and accurate responses to treasury related inquiries and ensuring availability of relevant documentation.
  • Actively participating in improvement projects, including automation, digitalization, and optimization of treasury processes.

 

 

What do you bring

  • 3+ years of experience in treasury, accounting, or corporate finance, ideally in an international or multi-entity environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of treasury processes, including payments, liquidity monitoring, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and interest calculations.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing activities.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence in managing financial data, controls, and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and with external banking partners.
  • Fluent English is required; knowledge of French, Dutch, or Italian is a plus.
