About the position

Quality Manager

 

Field‑Based | Supporting Stores Across the UK

Join one of the UK’s fastest‑growing restaurant brands and help drive exceptional food quality and safety across every Chopstix kitchen.

We’re looking for a passionate and people‑focused Quality Manager to support our Head of Food and play a pivotal role in protecting food quality, technical compliance, and brand integrity. This is a field‑based role, spending most of your week in stores, coaching teams, reviewing standards, and ensuring our ingredients, processes and product quality remain safe, legal and consistently excellent.

 

What You’ll Do

As our Quality Manager, you will be the on‑the‑ground guardian of food quality and safety across Chopstix. Your responsibilities include:

 

Quality & Food Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all legal, technical and food safety standards across stores, ingredients, suppliers and platforms.
  • Conduct regular audits of stores, products and processes, reporting risks and driving corrective actions.
  • Monitor supplier compliance and certification, ensuring ingredients meet specifications.

Brand & Culture

  • Act as a brand ambassador, reinforcing Chopstix’s food culture and helping teams understand the “why” behind high standards.
  • Drive improvements in quality consistency and reduce food‑related complaints through coaching and influence.

Technical Leadership

  • Analyse trends, escalate concerns, and help shape best practice across the business.
  • Support with ingredient checks, menu inclusion quality standards, and technical documentation accuracy.

People & Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, Food, and Risk teams to improve food culture, allergen awareness and team capability.
  • Coach store teams to uplift knowledge, confidence and ownership of food safety.

What do you bring

Experience in food manufacturing or restaurant/QSR industries.
Strong understanding of quality assurance and technical standards (BRCGS Food Safety knowledge ideal).
Food Safety Level 3 (desired).
Excellent communication, influencing and coaching skills.
Strong attention to detail, organisation and the ability to prioritise effectively.
A proactive mindset with a passion for improving food culture and standards.
