About the position

At Chopstix, our Chefs are at the heart of delivering the bold flavours our customers know and love. Working in our open kitchen, you'll prepare and cook our dishes to specification, bringing energy, pace and consistency to every order. You'll become a Chopstix Food Expert, mastering our recipes and cooking techniques whilst maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards. We're looking for positive, reliable team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy learning new skills, and take pride in delivering freshly cooked food and a great experience for every customer. Full training is provided to help you become a Chopstix Wok Star Chef.

As an individual you are

What You’ll Be Doing

·   Deliver great-tasting food with consistency, quality, and speed

·   Work across all kitchen stations, including food preparation, cooking, and service

·   Ensure products are always fresh, presented correctly, and ready for our Flavour Cravers

·   Monitor stock levels and support deliveries, stock rotation, and waste control

·   Follow all food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards at all times

·   Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment throughout your shift

·   Support the team during busy trading periods to keep service flowing smoothly

·   Learn and develop your wok skills through our training programmes

·   Work closely with front-of-house colleagues to deliver a seamless customer experience

·   Take pride in the quality of every dish leaving the kitchen

·   Support opening, closing, and daily operational routines as required
