About the position

To ensure you always deliver the highest quality food, following the Chopstix recipes at all times, taking pride in maintaining the highest of standards in health, hygiene, safety and cleanliness and being quick to shift when changes or improvements are needed.

What do you bring

  • To work together as a team, communicating effectively and supporting one another to achieve goals.
  • To be passionate, positive and flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Welcoming and helping to train new and current members of the team.
  • Attend regular team and Company meetings where required, including daily team briefings.
  • Ensuring you are friendly, approachable, helpful and respectful towards every customer.
  • Ensuring you present yourself professionally, attracting and engaging our customers by cooking our dishes in WOKs in our open kitchen.
  • To be a ‘Chopstix Food Expert’ by knowing every detail of every dish, being aware of any menu changes before they happen and sharing my knowledge and passion for food with the whole team.
  • Follow dish specifications, ensuring every dish is cooked to the highest standard and meets customer expectations.
  • To ensure the optimum amount of food is prepared and cooked and minimising food wastage and costs.

As an individual you are

  • We also look for a genuine passion for food and cooking, customer satisfaction, delivering the highest of standards, working in a busy environment, producing quality dishes which meet company guidelines and working closely with others as part of a team.
  • Previous kitchen and cooking experience working within the fast-paced world of hospitality would be good but is not essential as full training is provided.
