About the position

🔥 Interested in how data and financial insights drive business decisions in a global restaurant company? At Burger King Restaurants Italia, you’ll join a fast-paced environment where numbers 📊 support performance, efficiency and growth.

We’re looking for a motivated student or recent graduate 🎓 with an interest in finance and controlling, strong analytical skills and the ability to work with data in an international context 🌍.

During the internship, you’ll support the  Controlling team in activities such as productivity and cost monitoring, management reporting and data quality, gaining hands-on experience on real business topics.

We offer a 6-month full-time internship based in our Assago (MI) office, with a €1,000 monthly allowance and hybrid work mode, practical learning and the opportunity to build solid foundations in business controlling within a dynamic and international environment.

 

Reporting to the Controlling Manager, the resource will support the Controlling Department in the following activities: 

  • Support for the finance and operations departments in reporting working hours and daily monitoring of productivity.
  • Support for the finance and operations departments in controlling inventory costs, inventory shrinkage, and related reporting.
  • Support for the finance and operations departments in reporting, forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Data quality activities and innovation of reporting processes.

 

 

What do you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Business Engineering,
  • Knowledge of Excel.
  • Fluency in English (at least B2) 
  • Fluency in Italian (at Least B2)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to embrace new challenges in fast changing environment
  • Good communication skills, ability to connect with multiple stakeholders across different departments and countries/cultures
