About the position

The Construction Site Specialist is responsible for overseeing new restaurant opening projects, handling basic administrative tasks, and maintaining a strong on-site presence to ensure that all developments align with company plans, specifications, policies, standards, and objectives. They also manage relationships with professionals, project management firms, and supplier companies involved in the construction process.

 

Reporting to the Construction Manager and working collaboratively with the team, the resource will:

  • Assess site feasibility (layout and construction) and define preliminary budgets

  • Coordinate architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design activities

  • Oversee permitting and administrative approvals in collaboration with consultants

  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with plans, standards, and timelines

  • Identify and resolve construction defects

  • Manage renovations and rebranding of existing restaurants (remodeling)

  • Maintain accurate project files and documentation for all sites

  • Support supplier and contractor negotiations (bidding, comparison, selection, pricing)

  • Review and approve contractor/supplier invoices in line with company policies

  • Perform post-opening inspections and prepare punch lists with Operations

  • Manage personal project budgets in line with company directives

What do you bring

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering 
  • Maximum 5 year of professional  experience, preferably with retail restaurant company (or in studio collaborating with  Restaurant Retail Chains)
  • Italian Mothertounge
  • Good English
  • Project Management
  • Site Management
  • Budget Management
  • Procurement
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical Systems Regulations
  • Basic knowledge of Mechanical Systems Regulations
  • Basic knowledge of Construction Site Safety Regulations
